“Why does comfort elude my life’s embrace?
It’s as though I’m a living embodiment of Murphy’s law,
For if things can go awry, then go they shall.
And just when I begin to savor a fleeting comfort,
A fresh challenge emerges, uninvited, as if on cue.
I do relish challenges, they quicken my pulse,
Yet sometimes, I’ve mused, what’s it like to sail serene?
Deep within, my heart whispers a fondness for the thrill,
The unpredictable dance, the curveballs in my path,
They invigorate my mind and breathe life into my days.
And then, as fate would have it, I chanced upon these words today,
“If everything is under control, you are going too slow.”
A clarion call, it beckons me to push beyond limits,
To embrace the unknown, and to seek the sublime rush of life anew.
